The Ohio State University
The Center for Entrepreneurship at Fisher College of Business is an official academic center of The Ohio State University. In addition, the center facilitates entrepreneurial learning and experiences that will impact a global economy and stimulates economic growth by assisting new company formation and graduating students who possess strong entrepreneurial skills and experiences.
The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University is a significant partner of Venture Highway.
- Our curriculum has been tested and modified for several years in the classrooms at OSU.
- Our authors are distinguished, long time members of the faculty, and use the Venture Highway system in their classrooms.
- Our CEO, Kevin Gadd, has taught over 600 students of entrepreneurship at OSU, and is on the Advisory Board of the Center for Entrepreneurship.
- Venture Highway sponsors the annual undergraduate business plan competition.
10xelerator
10-xelerator or “10x” is the newest New Venture Accelerator in Columbus, Ohio. 10x is a mentorship-driven investment program designed for energetic and game-changing entrepreneurs. 10x is partnering with Ohio’s New Entrepreneurs (ONE) Fund, an innovative business accelerator designed to attract and retain the best and brightest talent.
The 10x program uses our Venture Accelerator course to keep the entrepreneurial teams in the program on track. Teams share the responsibility and workload of creating, testing and recording the key sections of the Business Model Canvas. Teams meet weekly with program management to go over their Learning Maps, and their updated Business Model Canvas.
Columbus College of Art and Design
Columbus College of Art & Design prepares tomorrow’s creative leaders for professional careers. With a history of commitment to fundamentals and quality, CCAD advances a distinct, challenging, and inclusive learning culture that supports individual development in art, design, and the humanities.
CCAD recently launched a progressive series of programs designed to increase entrepreneurial awareness and knowledge for CCAD students. This program includes several foundational courses, as well as a business incubator, MindShop. CCAD uses our Foundations of Entrepreneurship course material to get students interested and passionate about entrepreneurship, and to experience what it might be like to plan for that new business upon graduation.
