Once your account is approved, you can use our Course Builder software to create a customized curriculum. You can start with one of our packages, then add your syllabus, your welcome letter to students, contact information, and any other documents or links that you want to use in the course. All of this is accessible by students online in a simple, easy to use site.
Foundations of Entrepreneurship

The Foundations of Entrepreneurship curriculum introduces students to the basic concepts of entrepreneurship by looking at entrepreneurship through the lens of discovery & creation opportunities. The material is based on the well known academic paper - Discovery & Creation: Alternative Theories of Entrepreneurial Action (PDF) by Sharon Alvarez and Jay Barney. This curriculum package meets the general elective requirements for most programs. This package includes ten learning modules (more than simply a chapter), online tools (Business Plan Builder), example presentations, a syllabus template, Instructor's Manual, and example tests.

Venture Accelerator

The Venture Accelerator curriculum is a more advanced new venture accelerator course. Students will learn about, and use concepts from several of the most popular books on entrepreneurship - The Lean Startup, Business Model Generation, and The Four Steps to the Epiphany. Students typically enter the course with a basic idea of a new venture and go through the process of researching and creating a solid business model canvas based on this initial idea. The Business Model Canvas is an online tool that allows students to track their progress as they make and test hypotheses about the sections of the canvas. The Canvas, and the associated Learning Maps can be emailed to mentors or other stakeholders and those stakeholders can sign up for automatic notifications of any changes. This helps the student stay on track and integrate feedback from the mentors. This package includes ten learning modules (more than simply a chapter), online tools (Business Model Canvas), example presentations, a syllabus template, and Instructor's Manual.
